I have to begin with a designer, that I totally forgot yesterday: Ewa Herzog. So sorry, it was just too much!

Ewa Herzog had a wonderful show with topmodel Franziska Knuppe in a yellow lace dress as one of my favourite pieces. See all the beautiful lace pieces on the official MB Fashion Week Website..

Let’s come to Day 2, which started quite early at a mind-blowing location – church St. Elisabeth in Mitte – with the new SS17 of designer Dorothee Schumacher, on a silver runway…! I personally also loved the shoes, slippers and babouches are obviously everywhere on the Berlin runways right now.

BERLINER MODESALON & PERRED SCHAAD

At the Berliner Modesalon Vogue presented labels like Marina Hoermanseder (she is having her show tomorrow, looking forward so much!), Malaika Raiss, Odeeh, Vladimir Karaleev, Iris von Arnim and William Fan, just to name a few. As you might know I love creative ways of wearing scarfs, that’s why Perred Schaad‘s very minimalistic designs  especially catched my interest.

Back at Premium I just stumpled over this flower-embroidered denim jacket by Gestuz…

GERMANY’S MOST SUCCESSFUL INSTAGRAMMER

… and ran into Pamela Reif, Germany’s most successful influencer with more than 2,3 million followers on instagram. Thanks Pamela for the pic! I think what people sometimes forget if they see bloggers, influencers and other kind of “it-girls” only via Instagram or their blog, is, that there are actually real people behind it. Like Pamela, she is just 19, even though she looks much more grown-up on most of her quite professional photos, she is just a girl that finished school. She actually graduated her Abitur with 1,0. She is such a bright young girl, who knows exactly what she is doing. On most of her shots she is presenting herself mostly through her amazingly trained body, but having met here, I have no doubt, she is just a perfectionist in every aspect of what she is doing. Chapeau Pamela, you rock it!!

THE TECHNOLOGY OF 3D-PRINTING

3D Printed fashion is something I am really interested in, also because I do so many of my “designs” in 3D programs that I am really curiously observing the progress of quality and different materials that already can be printed with 3D printers. VOJD STUDIOS are quite well-known for their collaborations with luxury fashion designers. At Soho House Berlin they gave a little presentation of their latest works, impressive!

SOHO TIME

Another day goes by, time for dinner at the beautiful terrace of Soho House – where taking pics is not allowed for good reasons. Time to enjoy just the moment, without posting it somewhere…!
