I love the story of my friend and her Burberry trench coat. When I met her the other day she told me her trench is already worn in the 3rd generation. Means, her grandfathers trench went to her mother back in the 80ies and now it belongs to her. If this isn’t a classic!

My trench is by far not as old as hers, but whenever I wear it, I wish it remain in my wardrobe forever. It is a vintage piece / no name from LA and very minimalistic. I love his straight shape.
I combined it tone-in-tone with rose See by Chloé culottes and an offwhite turtle neck by & other stories. Because I felt in the need of some color, red shoes were a must, and for warm feet some thick red striped socks in it (don’t miss the sock blog feature here).
